Day 33
These are the before and after pictures of my upstairs closet. Doesn't it look better? I can now fit all my exercise equipment in the closet. The only thing that stinks is a lot of the boxes are now in my storage room. I guess that's the next project :(
Day 34
Our super awesome vacuum that I use ALL the time. With two dogs, I have to vacuum more than normal. Damn dog hair!
Day 35
The prompt from the Joy of Love was clothes of the one you love. These are Erik's khaki pants that he weirdly hangs on the closet door so they won't get wrinkly.
Day 36
We went to El Dorado to see our nieces and nephews. Here is one photo from the weekend. This is Brie. She's such a cutie! Her lips are all red from eating a ring pop.
Day 37
Today, I went to a studio lighting workshop with some other photographers. It was really informative but I still prefer natural light so we did some of that too. This is one of my favorite photos from the day.
Day 38
The prompt from the Joy of Love was what you hate about a loved one. Well I hate when my dogs tear the stuffing out of their toys and leave it all over the house. So messy and I get tired of cleaning it up.
Day 25
A new workout video I am trying! Need to get in shape for Hawaii!
Day 26
My new running shoes I got ON SALE at the Adidas Outlet Store.
Day 27
Miley loves sunbathing as we call it or hanging out in the sun..even inside. So funny :)
Day 28
Some plants I used for a product shoot.
Day 29
We ate some yummy Chipotle for dinner! Yum! I love Chipotle rice bowls!
Day 30
The BEFORE photos of our upstairs bedroom/ KU room's closet. The AFTER photos of the closet organized and clean coming soon :)

Day 31
Erik got hit in the leg at his basketball game and came home with this large bruise and bump. Looks painful huh? Well he could barely walk on it. I took him to the doctor and luckily nothing is broken. It is a broken blood vessel and should go down and heal itself in the next month or two. Erik is resting and taking some medication to help with the pain.
Day 32
I joined Willette's Joy of Love 2011 Class, where she emails a photo idea each day for the month of February. Today's prompt is "what they do". So of course, I had to photograph my dogs! Miley loves to sit by the mini heater. I have three images of her because I couldn't decide which one I liked better. Cooper loves to play, especially with his tennis ball.
Aren't they such cute dogs?? I am enjoying snuggling with them inside my warm house while the Kansas Blizzard continues!!
Day 19 - Another snow storm
Day 20 - my new favorite chips
Day 21 - pizza from scratch
Day 22 - Erik's KU Hawaiian shirt
Day 23 - First try at commercial photography
Day 24 - Cooper all tuckered out
Day 15
I did not remember to take a picture this day until I was already in bed. So I used my camera phone and took a snapshot of my beagle, Miley, trying to go to sleep under the covers. Isn't she such a cutie!
Day 16
Today, I noticed some pretty icicles hanging on our house. I loved the way the sun was hitting these icicles. I took the photo from inside my warm and cozy house too!
Day 17
Today, I decided to take a photo of Verizon Wireless Blackberry because I'm looking forward to getting rid of it :) Verizon announced last week that they will be getting the I phone in February 2011. Woohoo! I'm so pumped. Can't wait to get it!
Day 18
I love me some Diet Dr. Pepper!
On Day 12, I recovered the seats of our kitchen chairs. They were previously creme colored and now are black. This was an easy/cheap way to change up your kitchen chairs. So Day 12's photo is a before and after shot of the chairs. So excited to finally have clean chair seats!
On Day 13, I noticed Miley sitting on the steps and her little fat rolls on her legs. How cute is that?!? Is this why the vet tells me she is over weight every time she goes to the vet?
Today, on Day 14, I went from blonde hair to brown hair. It's kinda weird but I like it so far. My hair stylist says it will fade fast but that's ok. It's always nice to have a change.
We woke up this morning with snow on the ground. It's been so weird not having a ton of snow this winter..at least not yet. It's really only snowed maybe once before today and it wasn't a ton. We are expecting a big snowstorm tonight and maybe more snow until Tuesday. In a way I missed the snow, but on the other hand I don't love driving in the snow. If you know me, I don't have a great record of driving in the snow. Too many wrecks :( On a happier note, I went outside with Miley & Cooper and snapped a few photos of them playing with their new friend, Wicket. Here's to hoping the snow storm doesn't end up too bad.
After a long day of cleaning, I decided a healthy snack was in order. I cut myself up an Granny Smith green apple. Yum! This sure goes better with my diet than candy :) I also added a texture to this image. I think it worked wonderfully!
I could not decide which image I liked better of my dog, Miley. She does this head tilt that I love. Usually, if i say "dog park "she tilts her head as if she's . Its adorable. The second picture, she just looks so cute ad innocent. So today I have two photos of my furbaby, Miley! Love you Moo Moo!
Last night, Erik and I went to the KU basketball game. They played UMKC so it was blowout but still a lot of fun. We had great seats in the student section since not all students were here due to winter break. Erik even caught me a t-shirt that Big Jay threw into the crowd.
I just joined a book club. Wow I feel old. I have never been a huge reader but I would like to read more than one book a year. So our first book is "The First Hour I Believed" by Wally Lamb. My friend, Trish, picked it out as it is part of the Johnson County Library's book club to go. I hope it is good. I have not started the book yet but plan to soon. Has anyone else read this book? Opinions? I will let you know what I think when I'm done :)
